The American Eagle Foundation released two eaglets, Destiny (L3) and Thunderbird (K3), on 8-2-13 from Douglas Lake in Dandridge, TN. GPS satellite transmitters were placed on each eaglet for tracking. The transmitter on Destiny stopped working for unknown reasons. She was sighted and photographed at Deer Creek S. P. (Ohio) in April and then again in early September 2014. I found and photographed her on February 14th 2015 just a few miles west of Chillicothe, OH. The Patagial Tag L3 is clearly visible on her upper wing as well as the antenna protruding from the center of her back.
